The Miss Wales competition has been named the ‘best event’ in Wales in 2009 by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. The Vibe team – organisers of Miss Wales – took the accolade at the CIPR Pride Awards - the most prestigious occasion in the Welsh PR calendar. Paula Abbandonato, of Vibe, said: “The Miss Wales competition is our pride and joy. We put an incredible amount of effort into the contest and have been overwhelmed by the support we receive every year from the contestants, their families and the media.
